This generic USB handset can be used as a Windows audio device for any audio application. Ideally used with a VoIP softphone, the handset provides the user with a more traditional experience than a headset. A unique quality of this handset is that it does not require any drivers to be installed on the end user's computer, and is compatible with Windows 2000 and above.

This handset does not include a keypad for dialling - all call control functions are still performed from the softphone or voice chat application. Why waste money on a USB phone with a keypad - if you're sitting right in front of your computer anyway, you might as well take advantage of the full functionality of the softphone on the PC!
